Hi, its me again. Today I started on my 'real' website. Its related to Angling (fishing to the uninitiated! :-) ) and only now do I realise the true meaning of hard work when related to the Affilliate Marketing business!
I could have chosen a very small niche to begin with, but I've decided to go broader and build my website around the angling beginner's market in the UK.
I have already written a few pages - a welcome page, a getting started page and a couple of others, but I want to put in a glossary page to help absolute novices grasp the terminology. I've found a few online and obviously, I will have to 'poach' my glossary from them. I could simply cut and paste, but that would be both unfair and against Google's policy. That said, have you ANY idea just how many words there are related to fishing? Sheeesh!
Moving on, I plan to write out a lot of my content before building my site and then to insert it so that I can publish the site almost like a turn-key site. Obviously, I will have done all the hard work beforehand, but I think its the best way to go for me, as I don't want to put up a part-finished site and drive any potential customers away. First impressions and all that. :-)I would appreciate any comments and feedback on my plan and as ever, if you want to rip my ideas apart, please, feel free! :-)

Thanks for sharing your plan. I’m not about to rip it up because I have no experience with that approach to website building.
However, I still believe you could do well with the incremental approach
That way you will keep your website flowing with fresh content.
That’s the whole point of business building.
Search engines like that. I’m pretty sure your audience will too.

The only possible downside I can see is a potentially missed customer had a partial site already been available. People are coming and going sometimes never to come again.
But your idea makes sense also George. Whatever works for you!
