First Sale And Amazon Acceptance
4It took me a year working my main job and building two websites but I finally made my first Amazon sale +....
The Amazon Acceptance Email Came Through
I ended up selling a $300 dollar fishing rod which gave me a $12.00 commission at the lowest 4%. Only 6 more sales and the percent goes up. I hadn't put a post on the site for a couple months as I've been working mostly for others and on my bootcamp site. I started adding reel reviews and they're almost all going directly to page 1. I think having a website up for a year really helps.
Every Small Success Adds Up
Just a quick success post. Keep pushing and don't give up. The possibilities are tremendous and to all those still wondering, WA is THE REAL DEAL. Until next time. Sincerely, Geoff.

Congratulations Geoff!
That's a pretty good sale...I've had multiple sales, but they don't add up to $12 yet. :)
Well done. Wishing you continued success!

Lol. One of my first posts featured fishing hooks. I quickly moved away from that when I saw I'd get about .15 cents for a sale. But if you get the traffic it can add up quick.
I think it would still be wise to talk about fishing hooks, because the more clicks you get to Amazon through your site, the more likely you are to make a sale. Most of my sales have been for things totally unrelated to my niche.
Anything someone buys on Amazon within 24 hours after clicking your link will earn you a commission. So if they go to Amazon with your link in the evening one day but don't purchase anything, they may come back to Amazon the next morning and end up purchasing something. You would get the commission, since it's within the 24-hour time frame.
