Outrunning My Shadow.

Wow! So I have been working on my blog for an entire two months now and I have outrun my shadow. I created a total of 30 posts and finished the initial training, but I left my shadow behind.

At times I knew my shadow was losing ground but I couldn't stop, I had my stride going. I steamed full speed ahead building up content like no tomorrow. Soon enough I knew I was going to have to turn around to get him, and that time is now.

With startup training, I was going at a good pace but my content was coming out even faster. Before I knew it I was on blog 29 and feeling good. Then kyle reminded me of my shadow in lesson 5.

This wasn't the first time I had to go get him. And to be honest...It will never be the last.

My shadow goes by various names.

• alt tags
• post pictures
• site links
• amendments
• add more content
• changing what you wrote at times to fit who you now are as a writer to make yourself stand out from the crowd.

I will always have to keep an eye on my shadow but in the future, he may prove to keep up better now we understand each other's pace.

Full speed ahead, hope you and your shadow are working well together...it takes a minute to understand each other.
