International Women's Day 2017
Last week, International Women's Day was celebrated around the world in various ways.
Along with many others, I was able to attend one of the forums hosted by my local council in Australia.
It was a half day program with guest speakers, local government representatives, community storytellers, members of the business community and residents who shared in making it a fantastic day.
A key activity was engaging attendees in brainstorming specific action that each attendee contributed in a workshop session that would benefit the whole community so that change takes place across genders, working together.
As it's said, it takes a village. We are the village. All of us. Together.
