When You're About To Run Out Of New Engaging Ideas Within Your Niche, Is It Time To Look For A New?
After more than six months of blogging within my niche, I notice that the great post ideas come less often and less frequently, and they have to be looked for more and are not as engaging as the first dozen. How long should you milk a niche for content before starting on a new one? I'm not saying I'm completely out of ideas but it's much harder to find low-hanging keywords creating engaging content, and I'm struggling to find new and exciting angles to convey the topics.
Do I Need To Niche Down
Could the solution be to stay in the niche and narrow down my ideas? What about going beyond? Would that be right? Perhaps look at a broader niche with more opportunities to niche down?
Anyway, I know that there are still many topics to blog about within my niche. In fact, writing this post here at WA has inspired me to continue creating content while attempting to meet search engine indexing and ranking criteria. Perhaps the solution is to try to dive deeper into topics, and find new approaches on how to communicate the content?
Too often you follow tracks that need to be adjusted now and then. I think maybe it's time for me to make those adjustments now.
Let the New Year lead us all to the roads of success!

Hi Geir,
Have a look at this page and it might give you more ideas:

It's a cool site
Cheers

I enjoy your website. But I think you're far from exhausting it.
Love Wdcope's suggestions below about history and reinvention of the keyboard and its modern influences.
But there are also practical aspects too that, if you want to add to website monitization, you will have to share your thoughts on e.g. how one would go about restoring a tired piano lost and forgotten in the family room ... so tips on restorative kits, tuning kits, piano cleaning kits etc ...
Perhaps you just need a new category added to your site ... a 'kit and drum' accompaniment section! :)
Hey Geir,
I feel like you do. I also am beginning to run out of ideas for articles. I'm looking at focus groups to find topics they need assistance with.
Tried and True

Geir, Looking through your website which is great, I saw so many opportunities to chat about the keyboard and new instruments. Types of sheet music for piano, reviews of the latest instruments at the CES, how keyboards should be tuned and when, etc.. I enjoy music and history and many others do also, so you can write on more history and reinvention of the keyboard today and how it influences modern music.
Keep on with what you have it will pay off. If you have other instruments you like, start another site.
Just ideas. Wish you continued success online
Take care,
Bill
Thank you so much, William!
I really appreciate your feedback. You have given me new ideas and inspiration.
Regards,
Geir

Hi Geir, how is it going for you since you posted this question? I've had a look at Melissa's 'answer the public' page suggestion. It is pretty good I thought, and has given me food for thought. I like your site, very clean, very informative. Your monetisation is subtle. Is it working for you?
