Resistance from within and without

In every struggle for success there is resistance and the resistance emanates from either within or without! It is however normal and not even out-of-the-world to face resisting forces. The forces are actually indicators of milk and honey ahead!

Resistance from within

Inside your very self there are forces that rise and try to inhibit the success that you once envisioned. These forces may include:

An 'after speaker' that speaks contrary to what the first positive idea said. This is a second thought that tells you 'it's not possible;' 'it's a waste of time;' 'it's not for you;' and all that. In such cases you need to always go back to the first voice that you had and try to re-ignite the enthusiasm with which you started.
Tiredness that comes from within you! Some idleness and laziness can just overshadow you and you lack the strength to carry on. Shake yourself, man up, take some coffee and get to work again.
Despair from failed attempts drains some energy from you! Often times when failure enters your home you feel like you don't want to attempt again. I got good news for you, 9 out of 10 successful businesses have failure in their history. I am told Thomas Edison had 10000 failed prototypes of the light bulb he finally invented.

Resistance from without

We live in a world in which we mix and mingle with people of different attitudes, perspectives and others with nothing good to see or say in anything. People who are always looking for a flaw even in an apparently flawless material. You have them around you everyday and they may be:

Family and friends who you expect to give the utmost support! When those who you most expected encouragement from tell you 'you are wasting time' then obviously it sets you back but having been forewarned o their coming I should believe now you are forearmed and you gonna let them talk while you proceed.
Market reaction which may be unfavorable! The market you target may not always or straight away grab and swallow your product or service. This is actually good for you and let me term it a blessing in disguise because it makes you refine your product and service to world market standards.
Personal budget limitations also externally resist the success that you desire! I recently watched a facebook live video by my friend John Saunders talking about how your goals should be governed by 'what you are worth' not how much you have.

Friends you can add more resistive forces from within and without you! The few points I highlighted are not exhaustive of the list of inhibitors to your financial and non-financial goals.
