Is there a contract tieing me into an agreement for a year plus direct debit if i sign up to the upgrade?
It's a month to month membership, so you can cancel any time. If you decide to go with the yearly membership later on, that's different. In that case, you are fully committed to the year (one time payment of $359). however, for the $47/month membership or the $19 introduction price you can cancel whenever.
