Who is struggling ? Who is Overwhelmed?
Are we helping those who are struggling, are they being left behind?
Can we have a mentor group for those who are finding it hard?
Even getting a reply to question can be a challenge.
The other day I got a complete and informative answer and it surprised me it did not assume that I knew anything and laid out a path for me to follow.
Half the problem is in the way we ask the question, for example: -
Problem; I cannot get the banners onto my website ?
Answer; Please refer to Kyle's training on inserting banners.
A bad answer? If you have just spent two hours going through Kyle's training it is a frustrating answer.
Change the way we ask and answer questions?
The person who asks the question: I have spent time reviewing Kyle's training on inserting banners, but still unable to download them to my webpage.
The reply to the initial question:
If you have reviewed the training on inserting banners (url) you can do two things
1 post your question again advising that you have already reviewed the training on banners and state at what point the failure exists.
2 Seek tech support found at the bottom of siterubix
If you are struggling, but would prefer to be anonymous you can send me a private message, it will not be disclosed

I noticed your response to the complete answer you received the other day, result yes!! It was an excellent and detailed reply.
I am struggling a little at the moment Geoff and I agree the questions need to be worded correctly.
I also believe I have to do some search and learning work myself before I am in a position to communicate that question.
I noticed one post recently that requested a shopping list of off the top of the head questions. These were lazy half hearted questions that could have been found easily.
I am conscious about wasting anyone’s time but there will be times when I’m at stand still. The question will need to be asked!
Thanks
Wayne
Part of my problem is assuming my thoughts will be known. So I don’t write what I’m thinking.
A couple of weeks back, I was feeling the pressure and frustration.
The encouragement and support I received from several WA members, gave me the breath I needed!
Communicating effectively is not always easy. But it's nice to know someone has got your back and help is near

My problem is I don't look up to find if the question I'm asking has already been asked by someone else and the answers are already here. Whenever I get stuck, I kinda shout out loud immediately and ask my question loud and clear :) When the answers from my friends here are not up to my satisfaction, then and only do I search for my answers here in the search bar. I even don't care to look up to Google for the answers. I'm more comfortable with the answers I get from the community :)
When you do not understand something and need to move forward frustration can set in because you waste so much time, and time is the precious commodity. I left out the dot in sitemap.xml once and felt silly for such a mistake, but the truth is that I have no reason do believe the dot should be in the first place because I have had no training on such things. So many simple things that we are expected to know, but don't and always feel left behind.
