Before and After contrast

This is my first blog post. Since I own my own offline business and since I have multiple websites (none making me money yet by the way) I don't get a chance to participate in the WA community like I would like to.

But I have been thinking of the contrast of building a site on one day and the finished product. Even though I know a website is never really finished and always needs tweaking. We are all looking for the finished product when our site is making a living for us.

I wanted to give a little object lesson of what I do in my offline business. As I was working the other night I was thinking of my online adventures (as I do most nights at work). I love the contrast between before and after in what I do so I was thinking of how we Internet Marketing want-a-be's first start out. And applying it to IM. See if you can relate and give me some contrasts you may have been thinking of as you work towards an online income.

We get all excited and read and watch videos and we have visions of sugar plums dancing in our head or better, dollar signs.

Then we finally get our first site up and running. Well, my first picture signifies our first website. Not pretty, actually very ugly but up and running nonetheless and just sitting out there with nobody caring less and maybe even avoiding it.

But within time we work on it, submit articles, get involved with social engagement and low and behold we have a site that not only looks good, people love to come to and they tell others all it contains. This is my goal for my websites how about you?

I know it won't happen over night.

But I want to have a different contrast to my website from when it was first built and the finished product. I want to have a NOTICEABLE difference, between what I started with and what will become a regular income. How about you?

Again, even though I wish it would start right now, as a business owner I should never expect it to just happen over night. A little here a little there and then people start getting use to who you are and the area of your expertize. Sooner or later i expect they will come and participate and I will learn more about how to get them to open up their wallets and hand me some of their cash as long as I meet their expected need.

Again how about you? give me some of your feed back about how you feel as a newbie or if you are not an actual newbie but almost a newbie anyway :)

Business is ongoing, just as our websites. My websites change a bit everyday. Thank you for sharing this simple beginning to a bright and shiny one. Curious of what your next contrast will be. That is hopefully what we do with our readers, maintain the curiosity and coming back for the next bit of information we provide guiding them to other places on our site to peak their interest, earn their trust to buy. Hope the best for your success!!
