Mr. Villain
See that photo above? He's Mr. Villain. He lives inside my head. He always seems to pop up when things are going good and he tries to drag me down. And you know what, he does a pretty good job. He's been inside my head since I was young and I can't get rid of him. I keep fighting him and he usually wins. I've tried so many things in my life and it always starts out great and then here comes Mr. Villain to bring me down to despair. I'm tired of this guy and I need to get rid of him. But he won't go away easy. He almost got me again. I've been with Wealthy Affiliate for a few months now and I have built my website. I'm on level 4 of my training, I have a few affiliate links, Google Adsense is all over my site and I have about 17 posts on my site. Traffic is starting to build and things are looking up. The problem is Mr. Villain doesn't like that. He wants me to fail so he started filling my head with doubt. He wants me to fail so he can feel good about himself and that he won again and again and again. Mr. Villain almost got me to quit Wealthy Affiliate. He had me convinced that this wouldn't work and I should give up. Last night was a bad night. Mr. Villain told me to quit. I made a decision to quit Wealthy Affiliate. I got up this morning ready to cancel my subscription to Wealthy Affiliate. But I didn't. I met a new friend and I asked him to help fight Mr. Villain. He said yes. His name is Mr. Self Confidence. He convinced me to keep going and not give up. He kicked Mr. Villain to the curb and will fight to keep him away. It won't be easy because Mr. Villain is persistent and very strong. But Mr. Self Confidence is strong too and he's ready for a fight. You almost won the fight Mr. Villain, but I'm also ready for a fight and Mr. Self Confidence will be right by my side.

I loved reading this, I have a Mr Villain too but I am learning not to listen to him but I understand it is hard at times. Let's focus on Mr Self Confidence as much as possible, things are much more exciting then!!.

You're right Claire it's just that Mr. Villain is strong and stubborn and he's used to getting his way. But I think he's in for a tough fight. Thanks for the message Claire. Have a great day!
Well said Gary!
We all have peaks and valleys to contend with, but over time Mr. Villain will get weaker and Mr. Self Confidence stronger. That’s what being part of this awesome community does for us!

I know. Without the help of the community I probably would have quit by now. I love it here at WA!
And Keep it up. Self Confidence is hard won, so don't let him go. God Bless, and best wishes for your success.

Congratulations Gary! You told the, villain to go take a hike in someone’s head other than yours. Most things, that affect us start out as thoughts whether good or bad. It is up to us to let the dominate thought affect us in a,good, way or bad way.Which ever, dominates our thinking, that is where we will go!
Fortunately for you a rescuer arrived on the scene!Mr. Self Confidence.Dont capitalize villian. He is not important!
Mr. Villain is not important. What gives me self confidence is people like you with words of encouragement. It sure makes it easier on me. Thanks for the great message. Have a great day.
