Why is there never enough time.
Rather than tackle the daunting amount of things to accomplish, do you find yourself mentally exhausted from just thinking about it all? Maybe that's because we have an unrealistic idea of what we can accomplish and how much we can accomplish each day. We need to have a plan with a schedule to go by. And on it we need reminders of what we are going to do, and how much time we will allocate ourselves to do it in. Let's be honest, everything in our life needs to be balanced and when something is out of balance for too long, it isn't very much fun. Even though I have been preaching on this, many times I have not always followed my own advice. Talk about the skillet calling the kettle black. Remember to write down your plans, at least the night before, or even better make out your plans for the week. Be realistic about how much time you really have to set aside. This will keep you better organized, and you will have a feeling of accomplishment, and a record to look back on as you continue your journey to success. Successful people are always writing important things down. Let's make our time, and our efforts count, and make the best use of our pens, pads, and calendars. Cheers.

"everything in our life needs to be balanced and when something is out of balance for too long, it isn't very much fun".
That really resonates with me, thank you for this post Gary!
Great article and yes planning help to stay organized and to accomplish the goals. All the best
You are spot on Gary.
If I have a list of things to do in a day I can guarantee that the list will not be finished by the end of the day!
Now with age and experience I write a days work down on a list and then put a line through the middle, "sometimes" I meet the middle point.
I never have enough time!

Mike
