life at a premium
freedom at a premium
It seems to me that if one is willing to wait for it, a premium life can come at no additional cost. Or, said another way, a premium life is possible, to those who are willing to wait, or can live just fine without it. But, to say that denying the premiums in life will not make it go away. A premium life comes at a premium admission in general. Not paying the premium guarantees a non premium experience regardless. Does it help to be clever or to trick ones way through the door and not get caught? Maybe, but, have you gotten premium value at no additional cost? Do we not play these games with ourselves when we do this? Has one really gone further when one just lowers their standards, making current things seem better. It is merely semantics to pretend like this. Nothing has changed, only you have changed. Maybe that is enough, and maybe there is a place for that. However, it might be better to let premium things alone, and just pay it when required. Watering value down does not make a premium, you have just cheated yourself and others. Pay the premium and move on. Enjoy your life however you are, whether you live at a premium or not.
