Gonna be accountable! YIKES!
Okay, so I've decided, with the help of another WA'er, to "be accountable" to someone other than myself (her, namely). I've agreed to a "pact" that, since I do spend more time than is good replying, commenting, welcoming, etc., I'd spend only 1 hr. max/ day on that great stuff I love (community makes my heart sing) and then I'd spend a MINIMUM of 2 hrs./day on tweaking my site, researching more of my topic material, posting, etc.
So, that's the plan.
The only reason I'm posting this is I think it might be a plan some of you may want to adopt, as well. This WA'er (name shall remain anonymous to protect ... whatever...) and I have decided to "check in" with each other on a once-weekly basis to see one another's progress. I came up with this idea when my one, brilliant brain cell I've left decided to fire up and function, LOL.
Let me know what you all think ...
Be blessed with success! ~Gail

Great plan! I'm not extremely social but family obligations co-opt my time some days. I am committed however and will be working on my site faithfully. I have learned so much already and I appreciate this supportive WA vastly.
Am going to "follow" you...stay in touch, ok? I know how family can drain ya dry sometimes! Having a little "plan of attack" is like working a part-time job; in my opinion, if I don't treat this like at least like a part time job, it will just turn into an expensive "hobby" that really has no ROI (return on investment).
Be blessed with success!
Thanks for the follow and the plan. I'm a newbie and am finding that I get sucked into the social side of WA and am not spending the time I need to work my business. I like your plan of attack. THANKS
I think thats great two minds are better than one and you know you hold a wealth of wisdom great idea thanks and its good to have people in your on city state or country who know how to get around on the internet that will make your training a little better pro lem solving together and your learning experience will be a whole lot better.keep it real a.business like win friendship.hey im in raleigh nc if theirs eanyone want to try this model.
Raleigh, NC? great place to live, David. The "accountable to someone" model is an oldy but goodie...I know that I have trouble keeping focused for myself, but no problem at all focusing for others LOL. This little "pact" will help me be more balanced.
Be blessed with success! ~Gail
I am catching up on all my followups and haven't spent any time on research, classes, any of that.
But I had a lot of email (5000) that I let accumulate. I have gone thru and addressed the asaps, but the good and bad mixed together. I ignored, until yesterday. And I resolved that I will go thru email to keep up to date, staying on top of Facebook and Pinterest. Maybe later I can do a class. Also taking care of my 4 month old grandson.
But reading your blog, woke me up. Thanks
And I believe I have the theme for my next blog.
Awesome! Let me know what it is and I'll be SURE to visit and read! Be blessed! And remember: working on your WA stuff can be saved for baby's naptimes! :)
Great plan, Gail. Now I'm going to have to figure out how to implement that plan throughout all of my social media outlets.... lol ~ Mike
LOL, Mike - I know what you mean! I don't think (even tho I have over 3,000 twitter followers) I ever really learned HOW to use twitter properly! I'm hoping there will be a training here at WA for it.
Good plan Gail. Tho u are the queen of advice! UV helped me out when iv needed it! But like u say u have to think, about your own work as well xx
Absolutely....I just have WAY too much fun with all the WA'ers here. I love the community here...but am going to "measure out" my time so I'm more balanced. Can't wait to see your site, Gillian! Let me know when you go "live"!

It is a great plan. We have to balance everything in life. I wish you all the best.
Thanks so much; you and so many others have been SO helpful to me that it's my honor and privilege to be a part of the WA community. Balance is exactly what I'm striving for! :)
