Are you happy with where you are?
I found this quote a few years ago but not sure how said it now, but it is a light bulb moment!!
'The position you find yourself in, is a direct result of all the decisions YOU have made in your life'
It kinda makes it hard to walk away from the reality that you have created. It is easy to blame people for doing this to us or that to us but at the end of the day, you make a decision about how you react to circumstances and then what decisions YOU make of the back on that reaction.
Since I found this quote it has made it hard not to accept responsibility for where you are in life. If you are happy, then rejoice that you align with your decisions. If you are not happy than accept responsibility and change your circumstances.
I guess that is why most of us are here at WA. If we weren't happy with our working life and we wanted to seek an alternative in IM, WA than is the best place to be for learning at about IM. We have training, support and knowledge at our fingertips. I guess it is the first step making good use of it to forge a different life is the next.
So congrats to us all.

I am happy with my life, but I wish I didn't have these health problems
that I have now.
No, I have perm damage done. Dr. told me I would not walk again, that
was 5 to 6 years ago. He said that I should start planing my life using a
wheel chair. I told him that I will walk again & here I am today doing
just that. I am not goin' to win any races, but I can walk around my house.
I shocked everyone by walking again, you have to put your mind to
it & it can be done. I believe you want something bad enough, you
will do what ya have to get there, or get it. What ever it is, it can be done.
I love proving doctors wrong, good for you. You don't need to win any race, I love your drive to get there and its great that you can walk around your house.
I hate were I am in life, I know most of it is my fault,lots of bad decisions, but i never really ever had a break either. Even when I do the right thing it usaully ends badly for me . And unfortunely I do not have the smarts to effect a change. no matter how hard Itry to . Kinda sucks.
