As I close in on two years as a Premium member, I want to express my thoughts and thanks for the experiences I have enjoyed since April 2015. I have a lot to be thankful for and my understanding of online marketing has grown from near zero to somewhere in the direction of stratospheric. What of Year 3?The reason I am writing this blog, apart from expressing thanks and appreciation, is to let my friends and followers know that I won't be renewing my membership. There is one reason only for it and

The above title and associated article was shared with me by my wife. Sharon is fascinated with articles from QuietRev.com, a site that shows how introverts can succeed in society today. I found the article by Jenara Nerenberg to be quite inspiring and I am sure it will impact on everyone who reads it.Here is the link: http://www.quietrev.com/the-science-of-awe-and-why...Got any thoughts about it? How are you going to introduce a sense of awe into your life and routine? Please share your though

I have just received my 2 year Membership Badge. The two years has absolutely flown by and I have learned so much from this network of interesting people.Kyle, Carson and the team have created an amazing training platform. My personal glossary of terms regarding WordPress websites has grown from a couple of words to a large and practical resource that helps me to understand the power of online marketing. Today, I am cleaning the windows of a home where the owner found me exclusively through the

My wife has a remarkable collection of inspirational thoughts. I am not sure of the source of the following but it has played a role in influencing us both in living a life that is large and full. I hope it moves you to avoid living small."Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you

I found this story in my inspiration book. It has great application to our online businesses and what we are doing with them. There's a Hole in my SidewalkChapter 1 I walk down the street. There is a deep hole in the sidewalk. I fall in. I am lost... I am helpless. It isn't my fault. It takes forever to find a way out.Chapter 2 I walk down the same street. There is a deep hole in the sidewalk. I pretend I don't see it. I fall in again. I can't believe I am in this same place. But it isn't my fau

This is a brief shout-out to all my American Friends who will spend Sunday night glued to the TV for the Patriots v Falcons Super Bowl game. I hope you enjoy it immensely and that it is a fair and exciting game.VersusI learned an interesting fact about the Super Bowl prior to writing this post. Despite the 3 hours plus of entertainment, the 60 minutes of football time, there is actually only 11 minutes of football action. The amount of beer drunk by Americans during the Super Bowl would fill 80

Do you believe in "Love at First Sight"? No, that only happens in movies! Really? Maybe some of us are with the person we fell in love with the moment we met them. What happened back there? What was it that caused that instant connection? It was the power of First Impressions! That first contact between two people had a powerful impact that influenced the life course they took together. So let's think about how we can make our first impression effective, both when we meet people and when we writ

I know there are many here who, as part of their job, have had to do cold calling. You know, that wonderful time where you door knock at businesses to raise awareness of your business and to garner new clients. Some of us may have tried to sell vacuum cleaners, insurance, cell phone plans or even energy company products. I am sure that some loved it; others hated it!Back in 2015, I wrote a blog about my experiences back in the early 2000s as I worked to start my window washing business. Here is

We are logging in to websites every day. Wealthy Affiliate, online banking, newspapers, etc, etc. With all of these, passwords are crucial and the better the password, the safer our identity can be. After all, identity theft is one of the most prolific crimes of our times.Keeper, a password management company, has compiled the 25 Worst Passwords for 2016. This was discussed today in an article in the Sydney Morning Herald, here in Australia. Here is the link:http://www.smh.com.au/technology/con

Here's a personal question I want to ask you. Not too personal but your answer will be quite interesting. Let's keep it rhetorical then. Before joining Wealthy Affiliate, did you love or hate writing? Were you the "I'd rather say it than write it" type of person? I know I leaned toward that frame of mind. Writing was what you did in English class or that my wife did very well. But here we are, writing posts, blogs, product reviews and all that stuff and developing skills that were lying dormant
