How in Heavens Name Did That Happen?

I love surprises and this was my surprise today, the top 100, this is so amazing.

I was busy reading other Wealthy Affiliate members work and gleaning some gems from their shared wisdom, then I looked at my ranking. This is an unbelievable surprise. I am in the top 100. Only just though, but yes I am in. I do not know what I did to deserve this honor but I am very happy to enjoy it. Wealthy Affiliate has been an amazing journey.

I have learned so much in the past 18 months as I have been working through the WA training.

Enthusiasm for the possibilities had me working on too many websites at one time and now I know I need to back up a little, concentrate on a few and make them work well. The most recent site which I developed was about depression as I have several family members who struggle with severe depression so in my quest to understand it I did some research and made it the focus of my website. This website is less than one month old and it is performing really well.

It seems there are more people interested in understanding depression than I realized. Here is a screenshot of that one month old site.

I need to see two more green circles on my site assessment.

Other websites have fallen right back in their performance and I need to either delete them or work to improve them and make them more relevant. Our websites need to answer a question, to respond to a problem or need that people have. There is no point working for hours on a site which nobody is interested in. Its like a boring book, it will be abandoned in no time.

We need to gratify peoples desire for relevant knowledge in a particular niche in a way that is vibrant and interesting and will grab the attention of the reader then keep them engaged on the site. That means regular input of relevant and quality content. If we fail to do this we will see it reflected in the details as described in Site Manager of the Wealthy Affiliate platform. This is one of the most useful tools we have at our disposal and it is helpful to take time to open it up and check how our sites are faring.

Attaining the status of being in the top 100 has made me reflect more on how I am rating really. I still have a long way to go. I really want to share the WA love with others and help them enjoy the same journey I have been privileged to travel on. A journey of meeting many wonderful like-minded people who are always happy to encourage, support and guide where it is needed. Thank you, Fellow WA'ers for helping me so much along this road of intense learning.

Wealthy Affiliate has given me confidence that I can do it, I can be successful online and I will continue to be as long as I keep the company of WA friends and learn from Kyle, Carson and of course Jay with all the valuable video tutorials. We learn heaps from each of these key people but we also learn a tremendous amount from each other. That is the beauty of Wealthy Affiliate above any other program I have found online. We are a community of learners and action takers. Together we will rock it.

If anyone trying to make it online is not doing it with WA they are missing out on huge benefits and so much critical learning and application of that learning.
