Are You Ready For the Harvest?
Months of hard work pays off
Wow it has been a fantastic Spring!. There was plenty of beautiful rain through the Winter and early Spring and now we are reaping the rewards of months of hard work . There was a great deal of preparation required for this to be so abundant. We had to apply loads of fertilizer, monitor the feed and ration through the tighter months so that we could be assured of a bounteous Spring, even my dog is licking his chops.
To get a plentiful harvest we had to fertilize the soil, this is hours of work and many thousands of dollars for fertilizer. Then we needed the rain to fall and do its work on the pasture, and the soil which feeds the pasture. It takes many months, it does not happen overnight as much as we might like it too.
The grass has to be mowed, then raked and then baled and finally each bale has to be moved to the shed so that the animals can graze the paddock again. The process will start over again for the following year. If we do not keep up the work we forfeit any chance of a harvest ad consequently any chance of making any money from the farm.
Do you want to make money from your website ( your paddocks) ?
Then you need to put in the hard yards. You need to prepare the soil, or work on your website. Apply some quality fertilizer ( content) capture the growth with your rake ( lead magnet or landing page), and then wait for the rain to come (your website visitors) Finally you reap the rewards when the harvesting takes place, your leads actually purchase from your site.
Its not over yet
After the rain you do not stop but rather do it all over again, adding more fertilizer, eradicating weeds and doing all you can to ensure next years harvest is a good one too . You need to be patient too because like I said earlier, it does not happen over night.
Are you ready to harvest?

Thanks Armient,
I find there are so many common areas between farming and any other business. It is really just a matter of being disciplined
Nice comparison. Thanks for your desire to inspire members of this community. Those who will put on the efforts, will soon have a bountiful harvest in their businesses! :)
Thank you Coach Gom,
It is all about being focused and keeping up with the work.
That applies to any business. It is said that most businesses will make a loss in their first year of operation and then begin to make profits after that. But the key is not to become discouraged by the initial losses, they are investments in the future of the business.
