My site just got Indexed in Google!
Ok so I think I'm DYING right now, can you die from happiness?
I haven't even been here for 2 weeks and just now, my site got indexed in Google. I don't think anything in my career ever, not any promotion or new job offer, have ever gotten me so excited, as this right now.
I actually took a picture of my site in google - lucky page 7! :) You can see in my thumbnail! And a picture of Google Index:Yes in Site Rubix. I know I'm crazy but I'm so @#@!%^&** happy I just CAN'T EVEN. I want to remember this moment, to me this is a huge milestone and motivation to keep pushing on.
Also, I got my first visitor whom I saw in Google Analytics. A visitor from Samara, Russia, just a random person from halfway across the globe, on my own website. Ok so now you will probably think I'm absolutely insane, but I also took a picture of that one big orange dot showing my first visitor. And sent it to to my fiancee and my best friend accompanied by a bunch of exclamation marks. So yeah,I'm probably due for psych evaluation but I DON'T CARE because I'm in Google and I'm lovin it!
Onwards and upwards!

It's already great, it's motivated me even more, I've spent almost 10 hours out of my Sunday working on my website and loved every minute. Slowly but surely pressing on :)
Thank You Angel! I don't have much on mine just yet, one post, an about me page and privacy policy, I've just set up Google Analytics and Webmaster tools, sent in a request to index my site and I was expecting it to be a month or two so I'm super surprised! You will get there and you will also be throwing exclamations left and right! Let us know as soon as it happens! :)
I researched it in google by typing in "how to index site in google". Click on the 2nd link that comes up, it should open a page "Get your content on Google" (I tried adding the direct link but it wont let me in the comment)
I then chose Add URL, added my URL, submitted a request, and then it happened. I'm not really sure if that's how it got indexed so fast, but it's worth a try!
Let me know how it goes. I'm not sure if setting up Google Analytics and Google Webmaster Tools had anything to do with it, i got ahead of myself being the impatient person that I am, searched on WA how to set up Google Analytics and tune it in with the All in one SEO, then i linked the Google Analytics with Webmaster Tools, so maybe that also had an effect? To be honest I'm a newbie so I can't really say, but my training hasn't gotten to that yet Im on Course 2 Lesson 2, but I get really impatient and want to do everything at once. Let me know how your indexing goes!
