A Niche Do Over
So after 2 months on WA, comes the time that many of the community members blogged about, and now it's my turn. Niche do over! I've decided to keep my eating disorders niche website just educational, for reasons personal and moral alike, I decided I will not be monetizing this site. It's there for informational purposes, for anyone who needs it.
I've decided to develop a second website, in the lifestyle niche, with main focus on beauty & fashion, which are both great passions of mine, and my fields of expertise in terms of marketing for the past years.
Now the great thing is, it took me 48 hours to set up my new website, ready for posting. Just finished. I can't believe it! It took me 3 weeks the first time, now it was like click click click done!
That's what I call progress! Got the social media set up, got the theme and it's much more complex than the one I used before, got the SEO and analytics, webmasters and I'm ready to go go, twice as much energy and determination vs. the first time.
For anyone wandering whether to invest their time and money in WA - DO! DO IT NOW. The amount of stuff you learn is un - be - lie - va - ble. So with no further ado, please meet website number 2:
www.stylecite.com - Your Source of Beauty, Fashion & Lifestyle Digs.
Time to start working on my first post!

Hey Eva, Outstanding! For 1. Showing absolutely remarkable moral ethics. and 2. On your new site. The Karma you will receive for this will make your new site a great success! Best of luck with your new highly marketable niche. Go You.
Cheers

Hi Darwyn,
thank you, that's really motivating what you said, I never really thought of my moral ethics as remarkable, it just came naturally I couldn't go ahead with affiliate marketing and I couldn't write reviews, I wrote one for a program I believe can be a helpful online resource and that is that, just couldn't do it. I feel so good about this new website though, I think I'm even more excited now than the first time around, coz now I know my stuff much better and it's all coming together more smoothly, so proud of myself, I didn't know squat when I first came here, no idea about anything. WA is like Uni condensed into a few months!
That's brilliant Eva, you have a right to be proud of yourself. When it came naturally to you just shows what a nice person you are. Helping others for no other reason than the help. I take my hat of to you. Big respect and truly wishing you all the success that you deserve!
Cheers

Thank you, I'm truly humbled by your kind words! Working on my success right now, i.e. writing, writing, writing. Each post is like a little project, seems easy breezy until you sit down and get to it :)
Awesome blog. So inspirational. Also I do like the decision to let the disorders website unmonetized. Very ethical not to make money off of people who are seeking help of that sort. Thumbs up to You!
Kay
Hey Kay,
I'm so glad you like the blog, the decision just came to me naturally, once I got into the affiliate marketing training I couldn't go ahead with it on this site, I decided to leave it educational and purely for communication purposes. But they say there is no selfless good deed, coz I feel SO GOOD about this new one I'm pursuing and about my decision too :)
You should have Your fun with what You are doing. Who is saying You cannot benefit, if others benefit as well or even more?
Good for You. I am looking forward to Your processes...
Kay
I'm thinking about doing the same thing! Thanks for blazing the trail!! Keep us posted!!
Your site is about PCOS right? I remember :) You know I just thought long and hard and decided what I really wanted to do with my first site was to reach out, tell my story and try to help others and myself too, writing can be very therapeutic. But knowing the struggle and the pain those people go through, I just can't go ahead making this a business. So I moved on, and I feel really good about it! Let me know what u decide!
Great to hear you've moved to a different niche but don't branch out and try to juggle too many things or you won't be able to focus!
Just keep sticking with it! :)
I know what you mean with the focus thing, I need to structure my work, there is so many things to do, I keep switching and doing everything at once, it's a challenge! Need to make a weekly work plan and focus on one or two things each day, point taken thank you!
That's what I really love about Wealthy Affiliate. You take these skills and apply them to any kind of website development online. Great job on the second site and best wishes!

I agree. You also learn so much with the first site that you make online. Any site after that one becomes much easier, and you can apply the lessons you learned.

Well done Eva. Your new site looks good. I can't wait to see it with content. You are an inspiration to those of us (me) who are not quite as diligent as you!! Keep up the good work
Thank You so much Lou, I'm really humbled by all those amazing words of support I've read, I try my best! I'm posting more content as we speak, and my first post is already up :) Even more excited the second time around!
