Wanted - one english teacher (or expert proofreader)!!!
Hi.
I am putting the finishing touches on my website in the coming week or so. I feel very good about everything however I think that my grammar, punctuation and usage of words could be better. If you are an English teacher or feel that you are "an expert" proofreader and have the time and interest to closely proofread my 7 pages. (6-700 words a page) and make suggestive ideas for betterment I would certainly appreciate.it.
Thanks Larry freedomforus
PS I am a struggling senior on a fixed minimum income so this would have to be without compensation. OK?

I'm thinking maybe this could be a collective effort, and perhaps a few of us could pitch in and offer our individual efforts , and you could pick the best suggestions from more than one person and blend these?
A bit like the Amish community all helping to build a barn for a neighbour?
I guess you will have to decide how you are going to do this!
Just an idea......

Authur,
The Amish idea worked in Ohio at harvest times as well. Thx. so much. Larry freedomforus
it occurs to me that there is more than one way to compensate, i.e. not just money - you clearly have a lot of knowledge and help to offer yourself in other areas, especially to a newbies in websites, etc., ;)
Hi Larry
I'm not an english teacher, although I am English (does that count ;-)). I did a bit of proofreading some years ago and would be happy to give your pages a look-over.

Carla has written a few training blogs for punctuationand grammar that might help. https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/carlaives
I'm no expert, but I'd be willing to give it a look-see. Your UN-dying gratitude would most likely suffice for most of us here ;) Also, and just FYI, a little trick my daughter showed me is if/when you type a word and you are unsure whether or not you've spelled it right or not, just click on it and then "right click" on it. If you have misspelled it, it will give you the correct spelling in the box. I think most computers have this ability.
AWWW! I didn't say that you did. I was just giving you a tip should you have a need in the future. A short cut, if you will.
It occurs to me that you should probably seek several opinions. Then take the suggestions that are made most and that make the most sense to you. Remember it is your business that is affected here not the proof readers! By the way I am in the same situation as you.
I will not guarantee that I would get everything, but used to be an audit manager so had to write a lot of reports and correct them for others. I would be prepared to take a look.
