HELP! I need a hand from a disabled WAU member or two. Larry
My website at http://disabledfolks.com is nearing completion. I have evaluated the company and site of my potential distributor of goods. They seem to be a very fine company with a great variety of mobility boosting products (My Niche).
I got to thinking that it should not be me (I do not have a disability) evaluating this company and their products but rather some folks who have a disability.
So... would you be willing to go visit their site and give me some feedback as to what you think about the company, their products, prices etc. Should not involve a great deal of time or effort but sure would be valuable to me.

I have lost my home or landing page. Not sure how to get it back but I know it is possible. It disappeared. Not sure why?- do you know the secret to recovering it? Thanks!

Hi Larry.I like your cornpone site. It has a lot of heart, and your sincerity shows in your text. I don't know tech, but I think you want a 'responsive' theme, one in which the page layout as you've built it, looks the same whether on laptops, tablets, phones, etc. That's what I've learnt today in my studying with my own web site issues. Too, you might organize your long lines of text in such a way that a visitor stays with you all the way through YOUR thought. They may be in a hurry,. I think the folks who are looking for mobility devices would really really like to be educated, and that idea that you have to do just that is spot on! Also, I like that your present theme is simple. Visitors will not have to be distracted.

great site Larry couldn't have done a better job myself..lol..I love the inspiring story and the content is awesome..and By the way you may need to fix your links?? your link to 1800wheelchair isn't working so you may need to check the http link on that. just remeber if you need any assistance you know where we are. You also might like to highlight your H3 headings in your Mobility Aids page it will give it more impact to your readers. other than that great job..

I didn't have a problem with your site. I thinks its wonderful. I don't believe that you need to be disabled to promote this. Especially, if this is your passion. Its like saying I need to have problems with my vision in order to sell glasses? You are providing a service, I think that may benefit a lot of people. My 2 cents!

Your links do not seem to be working. Were you not able to get codes to add products or banners to your site? I was not able to see any of the products. I am on disability but still mobile currently. I have looked at some products if that ever does become relevant.

I read some of your material, I think your approach is quite positive about disability, I know there are outstanding examples of people who learned to cope exelent with a disability, get famous with it, but most people who suffer from these are just coping, struggling every day, and come accros a lot of obsticals. I understand you really want to be of help, but I miss a bit compassion, understanding for the real problem, greetings Loes
Hi - maybe his question should have been "if you have a disability, what type of site/products would you want"? But he's taken something he's been affected by, identified a niche, and tried to help with.
If you can't ask the people you are aiming at, then there's no point.
I 100% understand you are affected by disability - so what sites do you look for to help you and your particular issues? Do you really think every person behind those sites knows exactly what you've gone through?
I know what I look for with mine (no-one here knows what my disability is) - and I for one, wouldn't like to search for my particular problems in Google etc, and find no results. Anyone trying to help with my particular problems, I am truly grateful for.
I don't want people who help me to answer for me - I want to speak for myself - I am the only one who can give specific feedback on my particular circumstances - to have someone ask those that may help me if their site is any use, would be insensitive and disrespectful to me (imho).
I hope you understand. Despite our individual circumstances - I love debate - and I am not saying you are wrong and I am right or vice versa - just that some people have different views, and this being an open community, helps facilitate that.
