2250 Small Steps to Success

Most of us, if not all of us, have been excited at one point or another in our lives, especially when we find something new that draws our interest. We start to dig in becoming more familiar with that something. We might even study and perhaps build the courage to ask questions. But then the first action step comes. All of a sudden the wagon we jumped on comes to a screeching halt as we run into that brick wall called "_ _ _ _"!

Go ahead, fill it in. You know that nasty four letter word that rattles the cages of so many of us. Yes, myself included.

FEAR

Why does that emotion get the better of so many of us and not those other guys...the successful people?

Well the truth of the matter is that Fear gets a hold of everyone. Ask enough successful people and they'll tell you they've been fearful before. Some will even tell you they are still facing their fears. They've just found some way to deal with it. Some say they focus on their "Why" - Why are they doing this or that. Some have ways to compartmentalize' it. And believe it or not some just do what ever it is they need to do...scared.

There are loads of books already written on this topic, and I'm not about to write another. Well, maybe one day...when I hit my first million. But in the meantime, allow me to share a simple quote from a pretty well-known personality in the self development space. You may know his name.

"Every great success is an accumulation of thousands of ordinary efforts that no one else sees or appreciates." ---Brian Tracy

I share this with you simply because, being new and just a day into WA, I really love the step by step tracker. The simple and subtle feature of clicking to check of a task and have your progress visible is just genius! Kudos to Kyle and Carson for hitting that! Its just a wee bit of a motivator as you see those check marks.

I just completed my first two lessons and though they were really really simple. They put me TWO STEPS CLOSER TO SUCCESS!

So why the title 2250 Small Steps to Success?

Well according to www.thewalkingsite.com they indicate that average person takes a little more that 2,000 steps to walk a mile. But I'm a short dude, so for me its closer to 2,250 and if i'm being honest with myself a few more than that.

Here's to stepping to our Milestones!

PS. For you more veteran peeps. This is my first ever blog post of any kind. Feel free to share some critique. I'm sure there is just a bit more blogging in my future with this business. Just be gentle. LOL.
