Unlike working for someone else at a regular job, you become the boss when you start your own online business. Being your own boss is a blessing & a curse. Here is why. When you are your own boss you answer to nobody but yourself therfore you come into work when you want , take breaks when you want & quit when you want. You don't have to dress up to work online. You don't have to fight traffic, find a parking space or deal with the weather. Sounds great right? In theory yes! Not so fast!!!.
Being your own boss takes a lot of SELF dicipline. You get to make your own schedule so MAKE ONE and stick to it. Set your start time, your break times and your quiting times. Treat your business like a real job because it IS a real job. You just happen to be the owner & the employee. You need structure. Plan your day and block out a certain amount of time dedicated to your blogs, then updating content on your website, doing research. updating key words & promoting your business. Set up a nice quiet area (Your Office) where you can work without distractions. This is YOUR business not a hobby. you will only get out of it what you put into it so buckle down. Set goals, make a plan & take action. Most importantly have fun!!!!! You should love & be passionate about what you do. I hope this motivates you to take action and be the success you were meant to be.
