The week that changed my life!

Yes, probably a dramatic title, but that's how I feel about having found Wealthy Affiliate.

Let me tell you why ...

A couple of weeks ago I decided that I no longer wanted to work at my 1 and a half jobs, struggle to pay the bills and have very little time for anything else. So I started looking around for work from home opportunities. I did a fair bit of research on lots of dodgy programs out there and ALMOST spent $2500 (that I don't have) on something that would never have made me any money.

Then I found Wealthy Affiliate. The promise of not having to pay anything for a week was too good not to pass up. And since taking that first tentative step in the world of WA I have been blown away by it all! From the warm welcome from fellow members, to the step by step training guides, it has been a week of learning and unlocking what, until now, have been unfathomable "secrets" of affiliate marketing.

Three days in I upgraded to Premium and I haven't looked back. I'm sooo excited about where things are headed from here for me. I know that the $'s won't start rolling in this week, or maybe even this month, but I am confident that I am being provided with the training and support needed to get me set up as a successful online affiliate marketer!

So far I have:

• connected with so many supportive fabulous and helpful people
• bought my own domain name
• found my first niche
• built a website
• learned so much about how affiliate marketing works

And to top it all off, this evening I joined a couple of affiliate networks and I have just received an email saying that my web site has been approved as an affiliate by a company that supplies to my niche! I was so excited to get that email and can't wait to start advertising for this company and earning some money.

One thing I have learned is: do the training step by step. Don't go jumping ahead and think that I know what's next or how to do it.

I don't watch the telly anymore, I'm in my office as soon as I get home, completing the next training and working on my web site.

I know that if I continue to put in the effort, I will be able to give up my full time job and start to enjoy my life more.
