In the famous words of Lewis Carroll in the Walrus and the Carpenter -

'The time has come' the walrus said,'to talk of many things: of shoes and ships and sealing wax and cabbages and kings'

This, dear WA community, is my first blog post and I'm just a little nervous to say the least. I have no doubt that my first attempt will not leave you quivering with anticipation and awaiting my next instalment with baited breath. But hopefully I will exit my first blog with a sigh of relief and my head held high.

I have been mentally beating myself up and avoiding this task for days. I know it makes no sense whatsoever but it is what it is.

I read on someones post the other day that this is the new Facebook and it resonated with me. I have noticed since joining WA that instead of checking my news feed on Facebook I head in here instead to see whats going on, whos ranking in google, whos sharing new and interesting information. Im like a convert, trying to absorb as much as I can of my new religion!

So my time has come to put on my big girl pants and jump into the water.

And Ive done it,lived to tell the tale and hopefully come out relatively unscathed. Ive finally lost my blog virginity and I think I'll be ok.

To all the wonderful members who have reached out and offered me assistance in my short time here, thank you. Knowing that although Im doing something totally out of my comfort zone, help is close at hand. It makes it easier to know that if I fall, somebody is there to pick me up, shake me off and push me right back out there.
