My Preparation and Planning with My First Site on Wealthy Affiliate

I have been here for, oh, let me check my timer, 2 days and about 16 hours. Right now, I am on Course 1, lesson 9 in Get Started Here. Working on my About Me now and it is progressing nicely. So far, I am thoroughly impressed with the quality of the courses, even at the Basic (Free) Membership Level. This is an excellent example of the principle of 'Paying it Forward', providing a quality service in advance.

I am also totally blown away by the community here. My only regret is that I didn't put $19 USD into savings for just such an opportunity when it arrives. However, I still have 4 days to take advantage of the Live Chat and the Q&A Feature. I have already started to network here with all of the great people, all of these High Achievers, Goal Setters, and Positive Thinkers.

At this point in my life, there are some major upheavals taking place. Very soon, I may be relocating from this small town to a much larger city. Got a court case going on, that has been going on for 9 years now, which could result in a little jail time. (I won't go into details so please don't ask). I'm approaching whatever 'sentencing' there will be with that (fine, jail, community service, etc.).

[I really and truly am innocent (not skirting responsibility), but in a way I am responsible: I chose to move from a country where a jury of 12 peers decides guilt or innocence to a country where a single judge decides. America is truly blessed, especially when it comes to matters of law and with entrepreneurship.]

So, with these two things potentially causing a major change in my life very soon, I am planning to continue to work on my website and to start adding content to it on a regular basis. However, I plan to keep it offline until things settle in my life and become more stable.

I understand the importance of planning and preparation. It is starting to become well known with the American Cancer Society that smokers who plan ahead and make preparations before quitting, setting a date to quit and preparing themselves well ahead of time, have a much higher success rate.

The sages teach, 'Who is a wise man? He who learns from everyone.' Now I'm gonna set a launch date for when my website will go live:

October 11, 2015

That is my deadline and I will do what I can to meet or exceed this deadline. Those who pray, I would really appreciate it if you send up a pray or two for me that all will go well for me in regards to these two potential changes and delays in the next few months. Those who hug, I could really use a hug or two. Everyone else, I welcome all of your support and encouragement.

Change of plans; after speaking with Kyle, I will go ahead and launch next week. :)
