Twenty Days and Running

Yep, time sure flies when your having fun-even at my age :) I'm just glad that I put a task on my Google Calendar to write a 20 Day update checklist on my WA blog, or I would have flown right by it.
So what have I done, and did I meet my challenge?
- Worked through to the halfway point in level 2 Bootcamp
- Continued writing my WA Review
- Watched 2 more WAbinars
- Attended last Friday's Live WAbinar
- Outlined 2 program review posts
As for my challenge-did I meet it? Yes, yes, and almost.
My goals for my 20 days were
- Worked through to half way point level 2 bootcamp
- Check
- Attend both WAbinars on each Friday
- Last weeks - Check
- Week before - had to worked but watched replay
- Finish and Post WA review
- That's my big almost
I fully outlined my WA review (see my 10 day Checklist post). I write most posts through some sort of structure like an outline very similar to the checklists above, and then expand each section of the outline with the actual writing I want to post as a further indent. When I have what I'm sure I want to say with the complete post, I split screen the outline with-in this case-Site Content and write the post from that outline.
I don't just copy and paste the rightmost indent of the outline into the post-unless I'm absolutely sure I've said what I want in that indent. It may seem that it would take more time than it should, and it probably does, but if I don't prepare in that manner, I'd be all over the place and probably miss important substance I should have got to.
I can remember way back when I was in University, it was midterm exams time and one of my midterms was for an English Lit class. The midterm was to read a short story and write a full 750 word analysis in an hour and a half.
Well, we were allowed to have blank sheets of paper for notes, but the essay itself had to be in the midterm booklet. When the midterm was over, and we had to hand them in to the prof at the front of the lecture hall, had left my scrap paper on my desk, and threw the assignment booklet into the garbage can on the way out.
The prof asked me why I had thrown out the booklet, and I simply told her that writing under pressure like that is not a skill that I have developed, nor is it a good measure of my analytical skills. Then I walked out of the hall. By the way, the only thing that was written in the booklet was my name. All the work that I had done was on 4 pages of paper in the form of an outline.
When the prof had finished grading the midterms, and she was calling names up to collect the test results, I really wasn't expecting to hear my name called, for I threw out my booklet. But she did, and I went up to get my Zero. To my surprise, she handed me back my outline that I had done during the test and marked it. I did get a passing grade for the midterm, but she told me that she assumed the my rightmost points were my analysis and everything to the left of those points were the analytical process in progress.
She then told me that I had only lost some points for it not being in the proper booklet and in essay form, but also stated that the analysis was very good, but I had lost more points for my rightmost indents would have been 60 words short for the essay..Go figure :).
So am I concerned that I didn't meet my writing goal that I challenged myself with...Not a bit, for I know that I've completely outlined what I want to say and most of the fleshed-out outline is in Site Content now.
I have two programs that I want to review roughly outlined now. So my challenge for day 30 is to have these fully fleshed out and hopefully-time permitting-to have at least one posted on my site. Also to attend the Live WAbinars every Friday between now and day 30. And to completely worked through the last half of Level 2 Bootcamp.
Oh, and don't forget to post a task for a day 30 post on Google Calendar.
See you then,
