OK, So it's more like Day 36
And I couldn't be more pleased-even if I am late posting my update!
First, I've almost completed level 2 of the bootcamp. I did slow down a bit with the lessons because I wanted to focus on writing posts for my site.
I've completely outlined my site structure now, so I have a real firm grasp on if I'm keeping to my main niche goals.
I've added two more posts to the site.
Total posts 4, not including the privacy policy and affiliate disclosure:
- About Me Page
- Wealthy Affiliate Review
- CBProAds Review
- Streak CRM: A Power tool for Affiliate Marketers

The Streak CRM post is a little different than a review post and took me quite a while to get it right (in my mind). I wanted to do this post more as a walk-through of how to use the program and then illustrate how it would be invaluable for affiliate marketers.
I did get some very good feedback for this post, which I really appreciate! And I made a referral. That's BIG for me-still doing the Happy Dance.
I have fully outlined three additional posts, Two will be reviews, and one will be a similar walk-through as I did for the Streak CRM post.
I spent quite a bit of time tweaking my site, and along the way I did have some questions, which WA members quickly assisted with. A big thank-you :)
All of the above posts are indexed in Google, but getting ranked will come eventually.
The site is now Social ready and I will be going forward with all posts being socially shared from this point.
I did a test run with Jaaxy's SiteRank on the newest post on my site. I followed an example Kyle used in one of his lessons about Keywords where he took a phrase from his About Kyle page and plugged it into siterank to show that every phrase in your post can be a keyword.
I took a phrase from the posts and used Google as a test to see results. Then I used the Keyword tool on the phrase, and there was A LOT of competition for the phrase. I expected high competion for the keyword because I picked the phrase intentionally just to see.
I got some unexpected results when I plugged the phrase into Jaaxy's SiteRank. Google showed no results, which I totally expected, but BING and YAHOO showed me as ranked in the Number 2 Spot on Page ONE for that high competition keyword. I've only set-up Google analytics and Google Search console for the site so far. I've done nothing with BING yet. I'm getting on that ASAP :)
I'm not sure if this is a common result with BING and Yahoo, or even if I can expect some traffic from it as a result. But fingers are crossed (and maybe even some toes). No matter what happens, it won't take the big ear-to-ear grin away when I first saw that result :).
That's it for the moment.
