Forgot to monetize posts that has traffic
Hey guys, I hope you are all doing great with everything.
I just want to share something I discovered today on my site that I believe will help others as well.
I normally do not monetize new posts I publish until weeks (even months) later when they start generating traffic.
If you go to your Google Analytics (GA) under "What pages do your users visit?" you will see posts that are being visited on your website.
I discovered that 5 posts that are generating traffic to my site have not been monetized for many months already.
This means I may have lost earnings for the past months!!!
If you have not checked your GA yet, please do so now.
Let me know your thoughts.
Fred

I am happy you have come to realize that it's a mistake you are not monetizing your posts from the get-go. By not doing so right away, you are leaving money on the table.
I would monetize them before I click the Publish button.
That's another option but I prefer to see traffic before adding affiliate links. I believe its an seo tactic.
Let me know if I am wrong.

I haven't set up ga4 yet, so my plan this week need to rewatch jays videos on activating google analytics 4 an interesting post, thanks for the info.
Yes, jay made two tutorial videos about ga4 (google analytics 4) I watched one of them and have ga4 running now.
