How do I figure out what I don't know?

While attending one of @Magistudios live trainings (The Local SEO training) I had a revelation. It's difficult to get your questions answered when you're not even really sure what your questions are. I hope this makes sense
So as the training continued I started noticing that i didn't understand alot of the questions that were being asked. I was completely lost. I figured out that my impatience was the real issue. I wanted to just know all the answers already so I could get to work, but I didn't, so I couldn't.
So Here I am...
My goals are staring at me and I am having trouble organizing the tsunami of info that it appears I have to learn before I can even begin to acheive my goal: VEGAS BABY!!!
I want those 300 premium sign ups so bad I can taste it! But I'm having trouble even getting people I know to try it for free! I don't really blame them tho, I'm always trying to recruit people for something or other. But I digress...
I'm currently dealing with 2 issues:
My website is not getting any views and I don't understand why. And Google analytics is not helping. I ran a check and it came back 0 errors
I don't know if I'm doing SEO correctly
I'm reaching out to you guys because I don't really know what else to do other than to keep going through the trainings, and since one of the final tasks of the training I'm currently on is to write a blog post with WA, I figured I would use this opportunity to see if I can get some help LOL!
This SEO thing is really kind of grinding my gears. I really feel like I'm doing something wrong but everything I check comes back I'm doing it right. If anyone else is having this problem or if anyone has solved the problem please respond in the comments I would really appreciate the help. Thanks in advance.

Can you post a link to your site so I can take a look and give you some ideas
It takes time to get views. The goal is to have a lot of content that will bring in people through google search. Even it a page is indexed if it is not ranked high chances are the views will not come or at least not many

I just spent the last ten minutes on your site or blog and I am not sure what it is. Normally a website will be developed in one direction especially when we are talking about affiliate marketing. Your site is all over the map. Lets take the page regarding quit smoking where you have one page, two if we include the book review. The average quit smoking website has at least ten to twenty posts just dealing with ways to quit smoking.
Most of your articles are written with very little SEO qualities to them. Where keyword density should be around two and a half percent most of your articles it is not clear what the keyword would be.
I think what you need to do is narrow your website down to one topic. If it is WA then write your articles regardin WA, affiliate marketing, the various tool on the site and so forth. Just a warning this is a competitive niche

It's bleak at all. In fact it really confirms what I had been thinking. I wanted that sight to touch on multiple topics because I have many interests and didn't know where to start. The quitting smoking happened about 6months in so I just went with it. A friend of mine said it was like 3 blogs in 1. Maybe I'll split the pages up into new sites of their own.
