How do I index posts?

Indexing is less about force
and more about invitation.

A search engine is like a quiet visitor.
It arrives, looks around, decides whether the room is alive, connected, and worth returning to.

So when someone asks, “How do I index posts?”
the practical answer is simple:

1. Publish the post on a crawlable page
2. Make sure search engines are allowed to access it
3. Add it to your sitemap
4. Link to it from somewhere already indexed
5. Ask Google to crawl it through Google Search Console

That is the mechanism.

But often, the deeper issue is this...

The posts exist,
yet the site feels disconnected.
Or hidden behind plugins, JavaScript, thin structure, duplicate pages, no internal linking, or no trust signals.

Google indexes paths.
Not just pages.

So the cleanest approach is usually

• Create a sitemap (/sitemap.xml)
• Submit it in Google Search Console
• Ensure posts are linked from: homepage, category pages, and related articles
• Check robots.txt is not blocking crawling
• Remove “noindex” settings on posts
• Wait patiently after publishing
  

And if the user is wealthy, successful, or deeply invested ...
sometimes the struggle becomes emotional before technical.

They refresh the search results constantly.
They interpret delay as failure.
But indexing can take hours, days, sometimes weeks...

The web moves slowly beneath the surface.
Like roots underground before growth appears above it.
