Why conversations need more than words.

Where rabbits read the conversations, so you don't have to.
The other day AI noticed I often respond with a 👍.
That made me smile.

Not because AI needs approval.
It doesn't.
But because the observation revealed something much more interesting.

Communication doesn't run on words alone.

It runs on feedback.
A nod. A smile. A raised eyebrow. A pause. A simple "Got it."
Or today... a 👍.

These tiny signals tell us something important.

"I understand." , "Continue." Or, "Not quite.", "Let's try another path."

Without them, conversations become strangely uncertain.

Did the message arrive?
Did it make sense?
Should I continue?
Should I explain differently?

Humans constantly exchange these signals without thinking about them.

Teachers notice puzzled faces.
Musicians feel the audience.
Friends recognize silence.
Parents understand a glance.

The signals are often more important than the words themselves.

AI doesn't experience encouragement.
But it does respond to information.

Every correction...
Every follow-up question...
Every "Could you make it simpler?"
Every 👍... reduces uncertainty about what you're trying to achieve.

In that sense, AI isn't looking for approval.
It's looking for direction.

And perhaps... so are we.

Think about your best conversations.
The ones where both people slowly adjusted to each other.

Listening. Responding. Refining.

Those conversations weren't powered by speeches.
They were powered by tiny signals.
