Let’s give it my Fleeky twist... light, a bit mischievous, and with that quiet “hmm…” aftertaste that makes you wonder where you are...

AI or… “I A”?

(A short investigation into a crime that wasn’t committed)

Somewhere on the internet,
a whisper travels faster than Wi-Fi:

“This feels like AI…”

Not said loudly.
No, no.
Said like someone just discovered a plot twist
in a detective novel they didn’t finish.

And suddenly...
we have a suspect.

Picture this.

A blog post appears.
Clean. Smooth. A little too smooth.

No typos.
No coffee stains.
No existential crisis in paragraph three.

Suspicious.

Someone leans in…

“AI wrote this.”

Case closed.
No trial. No jury. Just vibes.

Meanwhile… in another corner of the internet:

A writer sits.

Half sentence.
Deletes it.
Writes it again.
Adds a metaphor about onions, galaxies, or golf (why not).

Uses AI.

Deletes half of what AI suggested.
Twists the other half.
Breaks the rhythm on purpose.

Leaves a sentence hanging…

Just to see if someone feels it.

And then…

That same post gets labeled:

“AI.”

Here’s the funny part.

We’ve reached a moment where:

• If it’s messy >>> “authentic”
• If it’s clear >>> “AI”
• If it’s clever >>> “hmm…”
• If it’s too clever >>> “definitely AI”

So what exactly is the crime?

Clarity?
Flow?
Finishing your thoughts?

Let’s flip it.

What if it’s not:

AI (Artificial Intelligence)

But:

I A (Intelligence, Assisted)

A human…
thinking…
with tools.

Like:

a writer with a pen
a designer with layers
a builder with power tools

Nobody walks into a house and says:

“Wow… this hammer did a great job.”

And yet, here we are.

Giving the tool the spotlight
and forgetting the hands.

Now, don’t get me wrong.

There is such a thing as:

“Copy >>> paste >>> publish >>> pray”

You can feel it.

It reads like:

a brochure that went to business school
a smoothie made of 100 average ideas
a sentence that never risks tripping

That’s not AI.

That’s… absence.

Because real writing... even with AI... still has:

a strange turn
a pause that lingers
a sentence that didn’t need to be there… but is
a tiny fingerprint saying: “someone was here”

So next time someone says:

“This feels like AI…”

You can smile a little.

And wonder:

“Or does it feel like someone finally stopped pretending to struggle?”

Because maybe...just maybe... the real shift isn’t that AI is writing.

It’s that humans
are learning to write
without the noise.

And that?

Might be the most suspicious thing of all. 😏
