Got to keep going

So here I am nearly 50 years of age.Yeah I know I am still young but I am also getting to a point where finding work to do in a different type field may be getting tougher especially wanting to make a some what decent pay.I am in the Apartment Maintenance field and today has been one of those days that I really wished I knew how to do something else with my life.It has been around 100 degrees everyday here in my part of the world and I am so ready for Summer to end.It takes a toll on your body even if you stay hydrated and cooled off,sometimes the work itself is demanding and the pressure sometimes makes you go crazy if not frustrated.We had 3 AC calls today and they were sort of tough problems but we managed to get them going again.I had to go to a hardware store to pick up a few supplies and as I sat there in my truck I realized more than ever I need to keep plugging along at building MY business and something for me and my family.It truly is the only way out of the rat race I am in.I do not want to depend on a company to be there for me in the end,the truth is they will not be.The days of a pension waiting on you are over.You cannot depend on 401k and you sure enough cannot count on having a J O B tomorrow.It really is up to us to try and push on.I got home today from working out in the heat and I am so tired and worn out but I will at least make a effort on my site even if it is small.
