Slow and Steady, Gets the Job Done? I Hope So.
Playoffs are Killing Me
As many of you know, my full time employment lies within a fairly celebrated North Eastern professional sports and entertainment facility. I started WA at the end of April when both our NBA and our NHL squads were active in the playoff mix. Early mornings lead to late nights. Ups and downs of winning and losing coupled by family obligations and now a new business venture! Am I nuts?
That has changed a bit. After a great effort by our NBA Squad, alas they are out of it and only the Boston NHL Club is still pursuing post season glory. This change will finally allow me to get back to training and participating here at WA. After 2 games on home ice, they are now heading out on the road for 2 more. This means I get back to work here at WA, participate more, train harder, and of course go about the slow moving process known as tending to my one web-site.
I've been able to pop on and welcome some new folks, add some commentary to a blog or 2, and even get a Gravatar email set up so I can finally do some site comment and get some folks to look at my work as well. Newbies, take my advice and set up the Gravatar account sooner rather than later. As usual, I learn the hard way. Oh, found out my site is indexed as well as one of my articles, so that's cool!
It's been great seeing the positive feedback and interaction from and between everyone here. I have some catching up to do but stay in touch and keep moving slow and steady, which for me is very tough. I like things fast and chaotic! Patience is an acquired taste....I'll get there.

Hey Fitzy,
I love your blog! I can completely relate to the slow and steady. Over the last few days I have had limited time for WA... maybe 20 minutes... which means I really can’t do any training and maybe get a paragraph or two completed on the post I am currently working on. I keep reminding myself patience and persistence.
You are doing a great job! Thank you for sharing and I look forward to following your success!
Hi PM! Thanks for taking the time and I'm glad I'm not alone on this. We do have other responsibilities, but we as a collective have invested in ourselves. I never want to lose sight of that.
I want my teams to win, I want the best for my community here in Boston, but now I'm invested with others here. Thanks for the response and we will keep plugging together!
