I Own A Domain! Thank You, WA!

For a few months prior to finding WA, I contemplated a few different at-home business options. During one of these recruiting seminars, I took notes during a keynote speaker's tips on branding yourself effectively through social media. I cannot explain why, but I was inspired to take action. That was the day my brand name, Fit4Twins, was born. I joined Twitter and Instagram and updated my profiles on Facebook and Pinterest. I started a new email account and decided to use it for anything related to my budding mompreneurial interests. I began to experiment with my new online identity in order to test some of the tips from the seminar.

Although I still am not quite comfortable with the level of visibility and interaction you get from complete strangers (yikes!), I was amazed at how quickly the number of people that were following my comments, articles, and tweets began to grow. I started to believe that I had listeners and a potential audience that I could use to my advantage one day. I made it a goal to eventually start an online blog using my new brand name, but I did not yet understand how I could turn that into a viable business. I was initially focused on the fun of it, the joy of working on a project that would allow me to express myself in a way I had not before. But with a limited budget, I also did not see the practicality of starting a blog just "for fun."

Since finding WA, the goals I set out to achieve months ago are starting to be met, and it feels great to be in the right place at the right time. I wanted a website of my own but had zero confidence in my ability to start one from scratch. I did not understand that I could also make potential income in my pursuit of these extracurricular endeavors. All of my "wacky" ideas that seemed unrelated and lacked a clear purpose are starting to align quite beautifully. I have not lost sight of the fun, and I intend to keep my personal interests at the heart of any work I do. I want to feel good about my work, and thus far, my experience with WA has not raised any doubts or ethical concerns like those that kept me from starting other home-based business ventures.

Thank you, Kyle, Carson, and the WA community for the opportunity to be inspired while acquiring practical training and useful tips. I will continue to visualize my goals in a positive light, as I believe thoughts become things. This way of thinking has carried me through some of my toughest moments as a mother and continues to serve me well as I pave the way for a more exciting and lucrative future. It brought me to WA right when I needed it, so I know this is where I am supposed to be.
