My IM Journey | Still Learning

Well my first site here at WA was a great learning experience that is for sure I learned so much from it. After all the trouble I had with it from bad backlinks as the Panda made its way around in March of 2012, I was hit and hit hard....2000 visitors a month....next thing I know no traffic and wiped right off of the map....de indexed I was shocked all that hard work gone....
I made mistakes and I paid for them...it happens I was new and did a few things wrong...at the time it felt so right...
The one thing that I could not do with this site is make steady sales. Even when I was getting good traffic I made very few sales, very few....disillusioned.....
Before I got the chance to really get this site set up and selling, I was as mentioned de indexed....boo hoo!!!! I just needed more time to tweak my site to start selling...but alas it was not to be...oh well...moving on...can't kill my spirits that easy...always in the back of my mind I wondered why did it not sell....??? A mystery to me....
Ok one site down and out, not to worry I will rebound and get something on the go...off I go....changing my strategy to see what happens...I started a little run of mini niche sites......I think I opened up like 7 or something like that, simple sites not much to them and not much content either....
I got most of them to rank 1st or at least on the first page, not all in first place, this was one thing that I knew very well and proved it to myself, I know now for sure how to get ranked....
I never spent much time on them after that as I never got much attention from any one of them let alone sales....of course they slipped away and were never heard of again....I know now that this was maybe a year or so too late trying these niche site with no content or very little...(lesson learned again)
Now I am about 6-8 months in this and have learned so much about IM I amaze myself....wordpress...links...backlinks....content....directories....and so much more...
I start my next site, I start my search for a new niche, I have tried a few interesting niches and was thinking about using one of them and taking it into an authourity type site....emmm maybe not...
An idea came across my desk, sex toys, emm I thought about it sex does sell that is for sure....I looked into some kws....I came up with adamevesextoys checked it in Jaxxy and it seemed to be a decent kw but a lot of competition...must admit this did scare me a bit...
I have done a lot of low hanging kws and they all seemed to work good for me...so thinking that I have what it takes to get my sites up the ranks...I said what the hell I will try some high comp. and see what happens....
Second page..... took a few months to get there....it was a harder climb due to the nature of the site, it was an adult site after all........ got it too the second page I was getting excited...here comes first page with a possible chance of the high traffic that comes with this kw...
