What Is A Working Day At WA?

I am retired so my working day varies with several factors involved. There is no specific time for me to rise or eat meals, unless of course I have something organized. I don't have a boss to answer to just a family. Maybe I have arranged to meet friends or decided to go out for the evening. The possabilities are never ending.

But, that is my life and I know many working with WA also have part time and full time jobs. They may have a lot more family requirements than I have. All my grand children are grown up so I don't get called on for baby sitting duties anymore!

All the members I come across, say they enjoy life on here and so many put themselves out doing extra hours after a normal working day, both to learn and to set their sites up.

So a typical day for me will be to check my WA emails morning and evening. Because I am reasonably active on the WA blog I do tend to get a lot of corresponding emails. I check and welcome both new members and those that have upgraded. This increases my network and at the same time increases my workload.

When I first started I replied to all WA blogs I came across, but now I probably only reply to one third of them. I also scan the WA desktop for any interesting subjects coming up there, especially from those not in my network as I don't get emails about their blogs.

I also am carrying on with training and often revisiting training to refresh my memory on those things my memory has mislaid. Then with external blog commenting I can do an 8 hour day on WA without thinking about it. My partner often asks me what I am doing that takes so long.

Yes, I know I have vowed to slow down a bit and start acting my age but, I like many others, find WA an enjoyable medium to be attached with.

What is your working day on WA like?

Hi Derek! My working day here is different of yours since I have a full tme job and kids.

When I'm at work, I usually open an internet tab with my WA account ready. During my breaks, I do some PR. I will welcome new members and new Premiums and then I will read a few blog posts and leave some comments.

When I finally get home, I try to spend some time catching up on training or writing a post for my website.

When have more time off, I do research on my niche to come up with new content.

I do feel like my life revolves around WA. I can't catch a break when I'm sleeping. I dream about the training, writing new content or telling people about WA!!

I like it though.

Cheers,

Cynthia

You have much more than me to deal with on a daily basis Cynthia. You have to like WA to keep up with all you do. I wish you well as you progress.

Ah. My working day (night)

I have been working for myself for 27 years now, 23 years fulltime. When I started my business was not online. It was still good then as I had no boss and can start and stop work when I bloody well liked, not that I wanted to.

Now I run Six Internet and Affiliate Marketing Programs and they are all online. Hoooray. Now as well as the advantages mentioned above it has the added advantage that you can work anywhere in the world that has internet access, which means anywhere.
This year I went to Budapest for 2 weeks and was still able t o work.

I am in a fortunate position (some people says it's odd but I am reaping all the benefits) that I only sleep one hour per night with about 3 power naps lasting about 45 minutes each. Therefore resting a total of 3 1/4 hours. Therefore I have 20 3/4 hours to do with as I wish.

I start work from 12 midnight and work until about 10.30 am. Within that time I have 2 power naps for 3/4 hr each, I eat for 1/2 hour, I exercise for an average of 1 hr and I have a bath for 1/2 hour. Therefore I have worked for 7 hours and there is still the whole day left and I am feeling refreshed after my bath.

The 7 hours is when I do my main work at a time when no one, no emails, phone calls or text bothers me. This is when I do my main work and is a full days work.

After 10.30 am it's email, phone call, reading upon any new projects etc etc.I sometimes cook a meal at 12.00 pm and I try to take another nap at 2.30 pm for 90 minutes. Most of the time I ly there listening to my Spotify collection (Barry White, Bob Marley, The BeeGees, the Beatles, Wham) I have a very wide collection - abou 60 - 70 playlists. After lying thre (most of the time it is less than 90 minutes) I get up and feel as if a I had slept. Between 3pm and 6 pm I can do just about anything, sometimes there are a few Webinars and Zoom Sessions to attend to. You know the ones when they say it is a training session for about an hour and they then ask you for $1997 or is it $1497 or is it $997 to join this fantastic program. So now I only go to these training sessions when I have some money to invest. I have done(am doing) one of those. It is the Amazon Seller (FBA) Program which I am currently in at present. Money is burning a hole in my pocket for another but i will wait to pick an appropriate Program. By 6 pm I am tired and at 9 pm I am knackered. at about 10.00 i take another bath (Well I am also a model.so I have to look after my skin and then sleep from around 10 30pm to around 12.00 midnight. And i get up feeling very refreshed. It's the best time to do serious work as you are refreshed and the fact that there are no destractions means yiu can do 2 days work in one day.It is realy fantastic. You should try it.

I will be going to Budapest again for 6 weeks but because of my weird working hours (12 midnight - 10 30 am {perhaps 6 am now as I will be on holiday}) I am able to work and do the normal holiday sight seeing and other stuff.

So, that folks is my working day (and holidays)

Thank you for sharing your day Aubrey.

My work day on the WA is a hit and a miss that I regret most of the time, not being able do put in more time that I do. Even thou the reason are legit, family, work, church, our friend murphy, are just tired (exhausted) from all the above. With a strong effect to reach my goals of (retiring my job, financial freedom, spending more time with the family, and taking trips when we want) at the moment I get in where I fit in.

The things that you have in place and have accomplished I think you are on track, I wouldn't change a thing (tried, family, 8 hours a day are even every other day (what ever makes you happen that the key). The 4-8 hrs. a day could just be exercise to you as a retiree (I don't know I haven't made it there yet).

I hope I answer your question or at lease helped.

Thank you Billy.

Hello Derek,
I really enjoyed reading this post thank you.
I usually start work at 8am and first I look to write a post 4 days per week.
Then I read 2 or 3 blog posts and look through the comments.
I welcome 3 new members every day.
Then I like to comment on 20 posts per week so I can ask the favour returned for my website.
I day per week I put together my newsletter although at the moment I do not have any subscribers so I try and post directly to my website.
I post my Social Media in the afternoon once I have done my articles.
Lovely blog post
Thank you
Imelda
