My Progress - Still no Sales
Hey Everyone, I hope you are all having a great day. I joined wealthy affiliate a few months ago and I am really enjoying the membership.Currently I am in the middle of lesson 4. I created my own niche website about option trading:

Back when I started I would never have thought that I would create something this awesome. Wealthy affiliate really is great.
I am getting around 15 individual visitors per day, which I think is pretty cool. But I have not had any sales yet. This doesn't mean that I haven't earned any money yet. I got about 6 clicks from adsense, which actually translates into an acceptable amount of money. (I still have some problems understanding the differences between estimated earnings and balance).
I think the reason why I am not making any money from my affiliate links is because I don't really have that many. I am part of 5 affiliate programs, which is not that many. The reason for that is because I don't want to promote every junk I find. My niche is option trading (not to mistake with binary option trading), and I can't really find too many affiliate programs that are good for me. If I search for option trading affiliate programs I get tons of pages for binary option affiliate programs. There are a few real option affiliate programs, but I don't necessarily like all of them and therefore don't want to promote them. Many sites and brokers which I would love to recommend don't offer affiliate programs.
So if anyone has recommendations for option affiliate programs or other tips for me, I would love to hear them.

are you using social media to share your posts to? facebook, pinterest, twitter, tumbler, instagram, reddit, Yahoo buzz, stumbleupon ? Im close to 2 month mark here and get around 250 to 1000 views a day, plus I have 11 referrals to WA,I try to post something everyday, or at least every other plus I share like crazy, I have board booster to help pinning in pinterest as well.

Im no expert, I am infact behind you as I have just finished lesson 2.
However I was thinking that since this program does allow us to so easily produce viable and authentic websites (can literally get a very decent website up and running in less than a week), why not expand niches? Maybe you have more than one interest and you could have two on the go at once. Just an idea but maybe if you could get both going you could really open up some new opportunities in terms of the affiliate programs?

I reviewed your website. ITS GREAT!!! I had to take a break during my bootcamp training due to family health but am back on track. I think you are on the right track. Here is an idea for you. It is one I will keep for myself. Once I complete the bootcamp and complete my website. then I will move onto the next website because WA will allow for up to 25 websites. With that in mind, you can consider another niche and as you build your websites, you will be able to capture income from multiple sources. That's my plan. If it works, I will let you know but it might be something you want to consider. All the best...Gus
