All WA Members Old and New Please Read
Hi Everyone
I have just written a new post about hunger and I would like everyone to read it
I am not asking for a critique of my post or my site
I am not asking for any advise (even though lord knows I could use it)
I am not asking for you to spend money
This is a subject that is dear to my heart as I once, not too many years ago almost became the victim of unfortunate circumstance even though I worked hard all my life
But, it is something I will never forget
Now, I have this wonderful tool at my disposal called the internet and this great opportunity here at WA but, what good is it if I can't occasionally use it to do some good in this world
I know we are all busy here trying to create our own fame and fortune but, I would be grateful if you all could take a few moments to read my post.
Even those of you who never respond to those "hey yoo hoo over here please look at my site" threads, please take a look at this one

Forrest, got here from reading your comment on my 'Linking..' tutorial. I read your post but didn't comment there as the deadline was passed but I will certainly read your future ones. Here in Australia we are accummulating a growing portion of unfortunates same as you. One tragic thing is, people keep mentioning the cost of food being too high. Maybe it is but the only way to solve this and other similar problems is to hit the 'middle man' ie the supermarkets etc. As it is a lot of the food producers are in the same boat as to the poverty line. I think the banks over here are the real owners of a lot of food producing properties. And right on with the comment on the site about helping your own before non residents. Why should some invisible body in the ionosphere dictate how much we 'first world' countries spend on overseas aid when it is needed here. I will keep in touch to receive further posts.
