How to share your WA link so you get commission for referrals.

Last Update: November 06, 2017

You know, being so new to web design my learning curve ishuge...but it is such a relevant skill in my world of business (Retail) that Iam anxious to learn everything I can. The swing from brick and mortar to e-commerce is significant and having avery real impact for manufacturers at the store level. So my new tactic is to get a few friendsto join WA and then we meet for coffee once a week and help eachother out.

To all newbies out there, if you want to walk this path with a friend, the way to get your personal WA linkis to:

  1. Go to the airplane icon.
  2. Click on Program Details
  3. Highlight Your Affiliate Link and copy and paste it into an email to share with family and friends.
  4. You will receive a commission if they go Premium

I noticed there is a Black Friday affiliate link. Anyone know what the difference is and is that the link we should be using now?

Hi, Craig.

Just use your regular link for now.

If you decide to promote the Black Friday event, use the special link for that.

Here's a post by Kyle, about last year's event: Sharon

That is something that just about everyone can and should do, my friend!

I have done that is many cases, but it has not been effective, yet!

How come it hasn't been effective?

I am going to be brutally honest with you:

I do NOT have a large 'personal' email list!

It took me months on this platform to figure this out, Fiona, because I thought you could only share your link if you were going through the Bootcamp. So I'm sure there are others who are unaware and could benefit from you post.

Hi, Fiona.

I'm not a newbie, but wanted to take a minute to say "hello" and tell you how much I love your new tactic.

It's a fabulous idea and I love it.

Good luck!

I read somewhere that if you want to succeed in starting a business that it is crucial to have a core group that you meet with regularly. WA community is great but I think having a few friends join with me, and creating my own core group will definitely help..

In-person and over-coffee does sound like a great way for real-life friends to help each other build and expand their businesses.

I think it's a marvelous idea. :)
