There Be Weird Things Happenin' at YouTube
So, I just noticed a post on someone not seeing their comment on YouTube. This actually doesn't surprise me but gives me reason for concern.
Yesterday (could have been the day before but I'm on some major painkillers from just having surgery so I'm still a little loopy) I noticed that they've changed their entire comment section.
They don't show the comments below the post any more. You have to click on the "Comments" selection and they will all show up in the right sidebar. To get the comments from the title comments, you also have to navigate from there. It's really weird.
I put in a comment on somebody's post (which was very trivial due to the comedic post) and it didn't show AT ALL.
I have NO explanation for this. YouTube has obviously changed the way they are doing things but why aren't all of the comments showing?
Perhaps a more knowledgeable person than I could explain this as this is only a "heads up" kinda post.

Hi Darlene, the creators can choose from several comment options for each video. The YouTube AI may have flagged your short comment as "inappropriate" until it's approved by the creator...?
That's very odd...but maybe it has something to do with minimizing all the negative comments that are floating around. Keep us posted.

Sadly, it is called "Censorship", Darlene! This is why they are doing this--to control the narrative! Also because they believe that they know best what we should see and not see! I prefer the old way! I can take the good with the bad, and don't need some idiot high up the chain to decide that for me!
