The Power of Word Choice
3
Words can start wars. Words can bridge peace.
It is so easy to use words without taking into consideration what the words mean to our readers.
How does culture affect the recipients understanding of the words we use? What context are words delivered?
What about age, gender or education? How do these factors affect our readers ability to understand our message.
In our rush to get our message out, build our websites and start earning a living online, we may risk forgetting who we are trying to reach with our message.
Because words are powerful, choose them wisely.
If we choose the wrong words, we can lose it all....
Until next time...

Yes they can be if we use them in a way that gives them power. There's certainly an art to communication! Words can seem harmless in the hands of one.. yet lethal in the hands of another!
Ultimately we have a choice both in how we choose to use them & how we choose to let them affect us.
Good words Fenxx! ~)
@djlv Thanks for the post. You are so right, it is up to us as individuals to choose our words wisely. We can learn from others, but ultimately we have to decide what is in our best interest. Take care.

You are so right!!! Like others have said......
Loose lips sink ships, a small rudder can steer a huge ship and with a small bit we can make a horse do what we want. So the power of the tongue is even mightier.
Paraphrased by me. I think that is the jest of it.
Thank you.

I have a big mouth and am constantly learning this...for me an ouch!!!
@wtbee2013 Hi Kymee! We are all a work in progress. It is ok to make mistakes in anything that we do. The important thing is, "do we learn from them?" If yes, then you will always be on a forward path. Keep strong!!
