Google loves a website that has a SSL.
Let me share with you how I know this to be true. Well, for one reason is that you will find your website and your websites content to be indexed a heck of a lot faster.

It happened to me. I purshased 2 new domain names and to make a long story short...I submitted them both to be fetched by Google and in less than 24hrs my new sites were indexed.
These websites did not have any content on them whatsover.
If you are not using the free access to adding a SSL Certificate to your website. I encourage you to do so asap.
