Hidden Treasures - WA Blogs
As a kid growing up I I had a real obsession with being the captain of a pirate ship. It seemed like it would be so much fun to travel the seas and find new lands while at the helm of my very own vessel. And of course, always running the possibility of discovering hidden treasures!
Here at WA we sit upon an ocean of sunken treasure in the form of hidden information. This superbly helpful resource is in the form of carefully considered thoughts. These thoughts have been transformed into some amazing blogs. While these blogs may seem dated, I assure you the contents are timeless.
One thing I tried to get my brain going over the weekend (while fighting some creativity barriers) was to start sifting through blogs of WA members that I'm following or that are following me. Wow! There's so much knowledge hidden in there!
Blogs that were written by some of the esteemed members years ago are brand new to me. I was amazed at the intellectual content, and how that content is seemingly lost in the confines of cyberspace. There were blogs about focus and work ethic. I found blogs relating to motivation, and some were just pure entertainment. I was truly surprised and grateful to have access to such fine works.
I may never sail the seven seas while on scout for long, lost, riches. But I am the captain of my very own vessel here at WA. It's really exciting to know that as I navigate the waters of the Internet that I'm not alone. There are many captains out there with me that have left helpful treasure maps along the way. Some of those maps are truly hidden treasures in and of themselves.

Yes, when you are new you can get inspiration from many many things. As you mature there will still be gems from time to time.

This is a very good point. It would be very good if there could be a curated list of blogs that are worthy of a re-look even if they are ages old.
Some information is evergreen in nature, and rewriting what is written seems like such a waste when perfectly good post may be there already...
Plus I am sure that some of the most successful members perhaps are not as active as they once were, so their fine work remains invisible...
