Smart Online Marketers and Bloggers maintain a healthy respect for knowledge of the product they sell and the Subject they Blog about.
The know that though the subject is almost never bluntly written about or discussed in Webinars, product and subject knowledge ranks equally as high as knowing how to write content that sells.
LACK OF KNOWLEDGE LEADS TO LOW RATE OF SUCCESS...
On the other hand, a notable result of lack of knowledge accounts for many purchases and subscriptions to programs that fail to produce the promised or advertised results.
Hype Empresarios know or sense it. They write their content to that low level of knowledge. They then come in with high emphasis of their free training modules.
The training consists mostly of convincing you to seek high gravity and hot products. To place a few ads with agencies they are affiliates of. They also tell you do as we tell you and warn your banker to watch out for gushing in-fows of cash,tumbling in from your new venture.
They then bombard you to do smart things their successful clients do ...to subscribe to their coaching and done-for-you services. They'll convince you that with that ...all you have to left to do is check your in-flows of cash daily.
THE DEAL CAN COST YOU AND LEAD TO FAILURE!
So, by the time the subscription phase is over, your costs have tripled or quadrupled what you though was the cheap $57 version, unless you fell for the $257 upsell or the $997 gold-plated model.
In most cases, what is promised as training is not specific nor hands-on enough to help anybody make the program work as promised. Failure tumbles upon you. You Quit in disgust. Now, dead on the keyboard, it all comes back to you: You are not cut out for Online Marketing? ...YOU just don't have it to succeed!
THE POWER OF KNOWING AND BELIEVING IN YOUR PRODUCT IS JUST AWESOME!
The power of really knowing the product you promote and believing in the subject you Blog about is awesome, indeed!
As result, your marketing and Blogging content is believable because your recommendations are honest, your knowledge or experience come through in a way and tone that your audience believes in you.
Your audience feels safe in doing business with you. Your content comes through as real, rather than contrived to convince your audience to spend their money!
One sure way to know and believe in a product or the subject of your Blog is to use the product yourself and Blog about what you really believe. Not truly knowing the product you are marketing and not truly believing in what you Blog about is an open road to failure!
When you truly know the product you sell and truly believe in what you Blog about is awesome:
...Because you offer specific suggestions and solutions;
...Because you share specific case studies from your own experience;
...Because you help your audience save time and money;
...Because you provide meaningful affiliate links for further help;
...Because you Blog about and cite specific benefits; and,
...Because you create genuine reviews that engender confidence.
A lot of content on the Internet is full of over-used, generic and trite terms like: save money or make money or save time. While these are generally good motivators, when everyone over uses them, they are less effective.
BUT WHERE, O WHERE IS THE REMEDIAL SOURCE OF KNOWLEDGE?
Following what I described above about knowing your product and believing in what you Blog about; and, that Top Marketers have a healthy respect for knowledge and that low level of knowledge leads to subscribing for network programs that turn out less than advertised, sort of obligates me now to show you alternatives that remedy the deficiencies described.
I've been in Network Marketing since 1998. Like many others, I have just about gone through the high gravity and get rich stuff on the Web. Hi, Marion!.-Thanks for hour appreciated comment. As you may have observed in my Profile, at almost 85, a person can pass through more than his/her share of 'downs' like scams and things. But, like someone said, unless you have downs, you'll never really know how good your UPS are. Now that we know, we'll just take advantage of what we have learned, share what we can with others and be glad, my good friend. Incidentally, our son Felix jr., a recognized vaccine research physiologist visits Australia 3 to 5 times a year. He has many research friend in Australia and except for his deep Texas roots, he would probably move their tomorrow. My wife Anna and I just finished watching Australia's first 400 million years on the Public Broadcasting Channel, With our son's exhaustive videos and photos and now First 400 years ...Anna and I feel we would find our way quite well in your beautiful country, might even hop over to your NZ neighbors and appreciate their beauty we have also seen on Felix jr's pictures. Thinking back, I can't believe that I fell for some of those scams, and not only once, how stupid am I. Well, I've now seen that I'm not the only one. As you say, knowledge is powerful, and I have now gained enough of it to be able to see a scam. Great post, thanks Felix.
Hi, Antlanticus.-Thanks for your comment.-A friend of mine from childhood who was highly skeptical of my entrepreneurial 'escapades' one told me that he hoped I would get really burned one day from the things I kept trying, so I would learn and get back to a regular job! I Got burned, and plenty of times by the Hype Empresarios, but I did learn, but just enough to revise my strategies and things have worked out. Some one has said that if you do NOT have "lows" in your own life, you'll never know how good the HIGHS are when they come, and they surely will. You and I just had some "lows" with those scams, but now we both KNOW HOW GOOD "HIGHS" CAN BE."Now That We know,..." we'll go alright, my friend!
