You could have amazon ads with controllers, games, consoles, etc.
If you want to cover basketball:
Articles on players, upcoming games with your team comparisions, player health rumors,
Ads:
Amazon ads for basketballs, sports bottles, bags, shoes,
You can also find shoe affiliates, clothing affiliates,
Try a plugin that puts an ad 2 or 3 paragraphs in

You may want to rearrange the order depending on how many posts of each category you come up with.
What to search for:
fifa game news
another trick is called alphabet soup:
do a search for "fifa game" but don't hit enter or click search yet,
instead type "a" and a bunch of suggestions will pop up.
When I try it for "a" I get a suggestion of "fifa game announcers"
You can use this as a suggestion for an article on the announcers. EG: Who are they, why was X not one, etc.
Suggestions:
Tips:
How to hit a three pointer from almost anywhere (not sure if this is possible, just an example of a tip to find)
How to create the ultimate team.
