I'd like to set up my emails to go out to new members. Anyone know where I can find this training at?

Top Menubar > Messages
Click on edit and enter your message.
Here is the beginning of mine
Hey there {firstname} and welcome to Wealthy Affiliate! I am John .......
DO NOT enter anything between the {firstname} brackets {.....}. This is the parameter that pulls the first name from the members account. You can use it as often as you wish in your welcome letter.

I have seen the training by Robert--boomergp08-- on this subject. Advise strongly. Also you might want to review all his trainings and websites.

How do I pull up the heading menu in wordpress so that I can change heading font color, etc.?
not all themes allow you to change the font color but if it's allowed in your theme, you should find it in dashboard under
appearance > customize
one of the first options is usually site title and tagline and then a few options down (depending on the theme) there should be a header section.
If the customize option is not there, then
appearance > theme options (may actually say your theme name) and you should see a heading options there

if you are hosting with WA then its as easy as going to the light blue site rubix button on the left and selecting email and setting up from there
