6 Days into the new year!
Already, and doing great!!! I did hear about some unfortunate news about my brother (he is still alive) but his life decisions have not been great and now he has to suffer the consequences... I feel bad of course and I don't want anything bad to happen to him, but everyone tried to warn him what could happen, and he refused to listen and always acted as though he was invincible... He never cared about how it would affect us his family, so we have had to sit back and watch it lead to this... I love him and always will but unfortunately, he made his bed now he will have to lie in it... Sorry if that upsets anyone but it is something we have been dealing with him for 20 years now...
Anyway, I am so excited about what this year is going to bring for me and my family... 2020 was the year I gave excuses, 2021 will be the year I use those excuses as a way of empowerment. I will use my hard times to give me strength and push forward in all that I wish and hope to succeed again...
In the past when people would ask me how I was I have always responded with "Just living the dream in Ohio" most would chuckle and be like "what dream" I would respond with "It's not my dream but Ohio's dream". No longer will that be my response; from here on out it will be MY DREAM, and no one else's. Everything I want to do in my life, everything I want to succeed in I am going to keep pushing till I get it. Nothing is going to stop me, I will not be defeated, I am going to succeed!!!
I look forward to seeing where we all end up in this next year and never give up... If you need words of encouragement, or you are stuck and just need someone to hear you out, or talk to about an idea send me a message and I will listen and help you any way I can, just don't give up! We are all here together fighting the fight for what we want, so take a break and breath and ask for help if you need it...

Surely this is when your brother needs you most.
I will of course be there for my brother, but there is not much I will be able to do for him... It has gone federal and that is something that I will not be able to fix... He knows I have his back and I love him, but he made his decisions... Even after 20 years of telling him what could happen and will happen if he continued down that road... It will be a hard lesson but he needs to learn it.
Yea, but make sure he knows your there for him as he will think everyone is against him and that he has nobody. Let regrets be his and not yours!
Oh for sure... I just messaged him today and told him that... I would never leave my brother behind... He is all I have left of our mom... So I will always be there for him, but he still needs to learn his lesson... I love him I just wish he would grow up from all his childish games.
Yea I totally understand, but you can't control him, you can only tell him that you love him but are so hurt by his actions and wish he would stop, but that you will always be there for him. That way he knows you care but are not condoning his actions.
