Never Under Estimate the Power of a Blower
I woke with such wonderful plans for the day. However, then the gardener arrived. I was so excited that they had gone atop the roof and were blowing the leaves from the roof and the rain gutters. However, they left what leaves fell on the upper patio there.
Well, as self relient as I am..I knew I had this. I could just blow off the upper patio and go about the plans I had for the day. Nope. While blowing the patio with my new heavy duty blower, so much of what was in the air had made it into my house. They don't give you instructions on how best to actually blow things away from the area you "don't" want the dirt near. Now, I have a whole different issue.
The rest of my afternoon as been dusting, vacuuming and mopping the upper and lower portions of my home in order to remove the soot, dust, and dirt from the gardener and my failed attempt to remove items from just my upper patio.
I can honestly say with optimism that yes I had a wonderful plan for the day, but things happen. It is best to just go with the flow, when it all goes to hell. No stress, no anxiety. I can now say that I have totally cleaned my house and can look forward to tomorrow and the plans I made for today.
Note to self: Suggest to blower companies - instructions on best way to blow away from the house not into the house. Laughing now.

Isn't always the way. I had big plans for yesterday but then the carpet cleaners arrived and I became a furniture removalist all day.
The house looks gorgeous today and I'm back at my desk.

Oh yes... I've accomplished the same thing trying to blow debris out of my garage. However, my experience was different when I came inside to my wife cleaning up the mess. Live and learn, eh...
